HCLTech is seeking a Microsoft D365 FSCM (Commerce Payments/Retail) Functional Consultant for a 6 month+ contract assignment in Sweden.

We're looking for a highly skilled Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Microsoft D365 F&O and Commerce within Retail

The ideal candidate will focus on designing and implementing solutions that enhance business processes and ensure seamless integration across enterprise systems, aligning technology with strategic business objectives.

D365 specific knowledge and experience required as below:

  • Retail and Commerce
  • Channel setup for POS, Call Center, and E-commerce
  • Define payment methods per channel
  • Configure tender types and card types
  • Payment connectors
  • Adyen, PayPal, and other third-party integrations
  • Tokenization and PCI compliance settings
  • Omni-channel Commerce Order Payments
  • Enables unified payment editing and refund capabilities across all channels
  • Requires setup of:
  • Call Center channel
  • Mapped payment operations
  • Feature management activation for:
  • Unified payment posting journal defaults
  • Omni-channel payments
  • Duplicate payment protection
  • Refunds over multiple captures
  • Call Center Specifics
  • Enable order completion
  • Ensures payment validation before order submission
  • Refund method configuration
  • RMA and linked refunds support
  • User setup
  • Users must be assigned to the Call Center channel to manage payments centrally
  • E-commerce Payment Module
  • Connector properties
  • Supported tender types
  • Primary payment module designation

Practical Experience Should Include:

  • Configuring payment methods and operation mappings for each channel
  • Managing gift cards, loyalty points, and customer accounts
  • Testing cross-channel scenarios (e.g., online order, POS pickup, call center refund)
  • Understanding scheduler jobs (1070, 1110) for syncing payment data
  • Define, enrich the backlog user stories, business requirements required and prioritized together with product team and support.
  • Part of sprint planning, product team to support the product team to show and tell the functionalities, features and achieve the solution with standard configuration
  • Writing design documents for any customizations and reports for D365.
  • Ensure the design documents capture boundary conditions and include comprehensive test scenarios.
  • Review design documents, data mapping and integration mapping written by other product team members
  • Provide guidance and support to product team during the design, build and implementation process, including training and troubleshooting.
  • Develop functional specifications and design documents for customizations and integrations
  • Collaborate with technical consultants to ensure functional requirements are translated into technical designs
