If you're passionate about modern data engineering, enjoy tackling complex challenges, and want to make a visible impact, this is your opportunity to shape the next chapter of Lindab Group's data journey.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as technical lead for the BI/Data team, guiding architectural direction and hands-on development.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines and dataflows using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, SQL, Python, and related tools.
  • Integrate and transform data from a wide range of sources, including ERP (D365 F&O), sustainability systems, HR platforms, manufacturing systems, and IoT sensor data.
  • Translate complex business needs into high-quality, practical data solutions together with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Support key initiatives such as ERP rollouts, sustainability reporting with regulatory requirements, Smart Ventilation product data, and global HR analytics.
  • Package and deliver data for consumption—dashboards, reports, datasets, or embedded data outputs for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure data quality, lineage, consistency, and security across all systems, implementing governance and access management.
  • Coordinate and distribute development tasks within the team, guiding BI Developers and fostering best practices.
  • Serve as the main technical representative of Lindab Group's BI/Data function toward the business.
  • Coach and support team members and business users to ensure understanding, adoption, and value realization.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the data function.

Previous
Experience & Competencies

  • 5–10+ years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or data architecture.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and data models.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, Azure, SQL, and ideally Microsoft Fabric.
  • Deep knowledge of data warehousing, data modelling, and modern data platform concepts.
  • Experience integrating complex business systems, including ERP solutions such as D365 F&O.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, quality frameworks, and security practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.

Who
You Are

  • Communicative and skilled at turning complex technical concepts into tangible business value.
  • Unpretentious, structured, and solutions-oriented.
  • Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Curious and motivated by modern data technologies, especially within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • A natural communicator who engages effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Why
Join Lindab Group?
You will join a growing team with strong support from leadership and exciting long-term investments in data and analytics. You will be part of shaping the future of Lindab Group's data landscape—from ERP and sustainability to IoT-driven Smart Ventilation solutions.
