We value autonomy, technical excellence, and collaboration—empowering our consultants to take ownership of impactful projects and grow in a supportive, trust-based environment.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Pipeline Engineer to join a data engineering initiative focused on designing, building, and maintaining cloud-native data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.

You will play a key role in developing reliable, scalable data flows and enabling standardized, high-quality data delivery across the organisation. The work involves modern technologies, close collaboration with experienced engineers, and the opportunity to contribute to a complex, high-impact data product in an agile environment.

This role offers a chance to work on end-to-end pipeline development—supporting orchestration, transformation, automation, and observability across multiple integration landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Airflow, and dbt (or similar tools).

• Build, operate, and improve data workflows hosted on Google Cloud Composer.

• Develop data storage and processing solutions on GCP, primarily using BigQuery and GCS.

• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform and modern DevOps practices.

• Collaborate closely with data analysts, engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver clean and reliable datasets.

• Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, and ensure quality, observability, and robustness.

• Apply and promote best practices in coding, testing, documentation, and version control.

• Contribute to continuous improvement through performance optimization and reliable delivery processes.

Core Experience

• Strong Python backend development experience, particularly for data-intensive systems.

• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT workflows, data modelling, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms.

• Experience working in agile and iterative development environments.

Technical Skills

• Python (backend & data processing)

• Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, GCS, Pub/Sub, IAM, Cloud Functions)

• Airflow or similar orchestration frameworks

• dbt or equivalent transformation frameworks (Spark SQL, Dataform, etc.)

• Terraform & infrastructure-as-code

• CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, Docker

• Data pipelines, data warehousing, and distributed processing

Capabilities

• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, approaches, and priorities.

• Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across co-located and remote teams.

Who You Are

• Passionate about building reliable, scalable data solutions.

• Motivated by modern cloud technologies and engineering practices.

• Comfortable taking initiative and working both independently and collaboratively.

• Curious, open-minded, and energized by working in agile, iterative setups.

• Able to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.

What We Offer

• A key role supporting a high-impact project in an international environment.

• Competitive compensation.

Opportunities for professional growth in modern cloud and data engineering.

A collaborative environment that values autonomy, trust, and continuous learning.
