Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Manager – Regional Production Planning
to oversee manufacturing planning and scheduling activities for
Smoking Cessation products
. This role involves developing and executing production planning strategies, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement production planning strategies to support the efficient manufacture of Smoking Cessation products.
  • Lead and mentor a team of planners to ensure effective execution of production schedules and continuous process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across operations, supply chain, and sales to align production capabilities with market demand.
  • Analyze production data, plant capacity, and material requirements to optimize manufacturing performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure all production planning activities adhere to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Utilize analytical tools to forecast requirements, assess bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions proactively.
  • Prepare and present performance reports, production forecasts, and risk analyses to senior management.
  • Manage budgets and resource allocation to achieve operational and financial targets.
  • Support new product launches and coordinate production readiness activities.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related discipline.
  • 8–10 years' experience in production planning or supply chain management, ideally within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Strong background in sales and operations planning (S&OP) or category management.
  • Demonstrated analytical capability and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience collaborating within a matrix organization structure.

  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in advanced data and reporting tools, including MS Office Suite.
  • Experience using syndicated data to support planning and business insights.
