About the RoleWe are looking for a proactive and driven Business Developer to help grow Envar Studio's client base and strengthen long-term partnerships within the gaming industry.
In this role, you will take ownership of identifying new business opportunities, preparing high-quality pitches, and representing Envar externally. You will work closely with production and leadership teams to ensure smooth handovers from sales to delivery, and to maintain excellent client experiences throughout the collaboration.
This role suits someone with a strong sense of ownership, a solid understanding of the game development landscape, and the ability to balance relationship-building with structured, detail-oriented execution.
ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new client opportunities through various outbound channels
Conduct market research and competitor analysis, as well as prepare tailored game plan proposals
Build, maintain, and grow strong client relationships by understanding client needs and challenges
Represent Envar at industry events, studio visits, and client meetings, both virtually and in person
Prepare project estimates and pitches aligned with Envar's cost structure and service offerings
Maintain a clean, accurate, and up-to-date pipeline in the CRM system
Work closely with production teams to ensure timely, efficient, and well-documented handovers
Adapt to established workflows while ensuring clear communication across all relevant stakeholders
Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Business Developer in the video game industry
Good understanding of the art production pipeline for video games
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to professionally represent Envar's brand and values
Strong research, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and maintain a high level of execution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Willingness to occasionally work off-hours and balance this with flex time
Willingness and availability to travel internationally for industry events
Experience within the AA and/or AAA game market
Previous experience attending or representing studios at game industry events
Professional working proficiency in languages other than English
A genuine passion for games and the game development industry
