Job Description

We are now looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Hardware Area in Linköping.

While ACTIA Nordics roots are in the automotive industry, we now support clients across a variety of industries, where we offer in-house innovative development collaborations for our customers. With other words – designing smart and robust products that emits low emissions.

As a Mechanical Engineer at ACTIA Nordic, you will have a broad and hands-on role where you'll take on significant technical responsibility, work closely with other disciplines, and be involved from concept to final product.

You'll be one out of two mechanical engineers in the team, which gives you a central role in development while collaborating closely with electronics engineers, testers, and other colleagues.

Your key responsibilities will therefore be:

  • To drive the mechanical development for new products – from concept to production.
  • Work broadly across CAD design, manufacturing method selection, and product structure.
  • Build and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) and ensure solid documentation.
  • Maintain close dialogue with testers and follow up on product verification.
  • Collaborate closely with electronics engineers to ensure integrated solutions.
  • Ensure that the design is cost-effective and manufacturable.
