SeaPattern is revolutionizing hydropower with modular, floating hydrokinetic turbines that boost energy production—without new infrastructure and without environmental impact.
As we take the next step toward commercialization, we are looking for a Mechanical Structural Engineer who wants to help develop breakthrough technology and create sustainable energy solutions for the world.
Main responsibilities

Your work will include verifying the structural integrity of the system through both simulation and physical testing. Additionally, you will play a key part in selecting materials that offer strong corrosion resistance and fatigue performance, particularly for use in demanding marine environments.

You thrive and work effectively in a cross-functional team, can clearly communicate your design intentions and you have excellent collaboration and communication skills. You also have a strong drive to learn and to contribute actively to product development.
The right candidate have a proven track record of selecting marine-grade materials and analyzing performance under harsh conditions. You also bring the following competencies to the team:
- M.Sc or Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineer or related fields.
- Approximately 5 years of work experience from structural engineering or materials science
- Experience in marine systems, offshore engineering, or renewable energy is a benefit
