Job Description

Develop and execute tests Create, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.Defect management Identify, document, and track defects, working with developers to resolve them.Collaboration Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand requirements and ensure software quality.Test automation Develop automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, configure testing environments, and build automation frameworks.Reporting Analyze test results and report on test coverage and effectiveness.Regression testing Perform regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.Feedback Participate in design reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective. QualificationsEducation A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is typically required.SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with automation tools like Selenium.Programming knowledge in languages such as Java or Python.Familiarity with test management software.Experience Experience in manual and automation testing, potentially gained through internships or entry-level positions, is valuable.Certifications Certifications like ISTQB can be beneficial.
