About the role

As Lead QA Engineer, you'll be our first dedicated testing specialist — a key figure laying the foundation for how we ensure product quality going forward. You'll have a major influence on our processes and ways of working, helping us deliver a fast, stable, and reliable experience to our users.

You'll work closely with Product, UX/Design, and Development throughout the entire lifecycle — from idea to launch. The role covers everything from defining test strategies and routines to hands-on testing of new features and identifying improvements that enhance the user experience.

Who you are

We believe you have several years of experience in software testing and feel confident taking ownership of quality assurance. You're proactive, structured, and passionate about improving processes and ensuring technical excellence.

You will:

  • Establish and develop our QA strategy and testing processes
  • Perform manual testing across web, backend, and mobile (React Native)
  • Build and maintain automated tests and test environments (e.g., end-to-end and regression tests)
  • Ensure quality in CI/CD pipelines together with the development team
  • Track bugs and incidents, perform root cause analyses, and drive process improvements
  • Act as a partner to product owners and developers regarding testability, quality, and user experience

You have:

  • Several years of experience in software testing within product development teams
  • A solid understanding of both manual and automated testing
  • Experience testing in environments using , .NET, React/Vue, or similar frameworks
  • Experience testing mobile apps (React Native or similar)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
  • A structured, detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on quality and improvement
  • The ability to see the bigger picture — from technical functionality to user experience

It's a plus if you have:

  • Experience setting up QA processes from scratch
  • Experience with test automation in JavaScript or C#
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and user testing
