Our ambition is to become the leading integrated biogas player in the Nordics, playing a pivotal role in the energy transition. We cover the entire biogas value chain, from feedstock sourcing to distribution and end-user sales. We aim to achieve 3 TWh of biomethane production and 6 TWh of biomethane sales by 2030, with a focus on heavy transport, maritime, and industrial applications.

To support this ambitious expansion, we are committed to investing over EUR 1 billion in biogas production and distribution networks across the Nordics, with several major projects underway.

At St1 Biokraft, we're driving the transition to renewable energy across Northern Europe. As part of our mission, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Modelling Analyst to take complete ownership of our corporate financial model. This model is vital for our investment decisions, financial planning, and lender reporting—and essential for supporting our growth journey.

About the Role

As a Financial Modelling Lead, you will manage, develop, and improve our corporate financial model while working closely with stakeholders across Business Control, Treasury, Strategy & M&A, and Operations. You will be responsible for maintaining the corporate financial model, collecting and validating inputs, conducting analyses, and preparing reports for both internal and external use. The role requires strong Excel modelling skills, excellent communication skills, and a sharp analytical mind.

You will support the organisation by providing quarterly updates to owners and lenders, conducting stress tests, performing investment calculations, and analysing different scenarios. Additionally, you will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of acquisitions and major capital expenditure projects. The role reports to the Treasury Manager and is based at our head office in the World Trade Centre, Stockholm.

You will

• Own and maintain the St1 Biokraft's corporate financial model.
• Coordinate and validate data inputs across various departments.
• Conduct scenario analysis, build investment case models, and assist with financing activities.
• Generate reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with M&A, Treasury, Business Control, and Accounting and Tax teams.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with external requirements from lenders and owners.

What You Bring

• 3 –5 years of experience in valuation, corporate finance, or investments.
• Background from Big Four firms, PE/infra funds, or industry sectors with relevant modelling expertise.
• Experience in the energy sector or capital-intensive/producing industries is highly valued.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capabilities.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Fluency in English (Swedish is a plus).

You enjoy managing complex processes and can work both independently and in teams. You are organised, proactive, and intellectually curious – with a desire to develop tools and insights that support better business decisions.
