Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of application development and implementation projects. This pivotal role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through completion.

You will be responsible for defining project scope, setting and managing timelines, allocating resources, and ensuring alignment with business goals. This role demands close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, including developers, designers, solution architects, business teams, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of software/application development projects.
  • Define project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
  • Create detailed project plans and manage project execution using methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution and communication across technical and business units.
  • Track project progress, performance, and budget adherence, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and cost constraints.
  • Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies; implement mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Facilitate regular project status updates and ensure consistent communication with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout the development and delivery process.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Support the adoption of best practices, tools, and templates for effective project management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Project Manager in software or application development, ideally in enterprise environments.
  • Strong experience with cloud-based solutions, enterprise applications, or SaaS platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience working with diverse technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PPM, or ITIL are highly preferred but not mandatory.
