Job Description

As a member of our Solution Consulting team focusing on Public Sector, you will have a major impact on our future success by supporting the sales cycle of the ServiceNow platform.

In this role, you will:

• Advise customers on how to achieve meaningful outcomes using our solutions
• Lead demos and interactive sessions that showcase how our capabilities support customer goals.
• Own the technology agenda for your customer accounts
• Partner closely with cross-functional sales teams and act as the solution lead across customer engagements
• Apply hands-on technical expertise to drive solution delivery and effectively position our technology throughout the sales cycle
• Work with Public Sector customers (and you have experience in Public sector)
• Engage confidently with business decision-makers, including C-level stakeholders, across various functions
• Have strong business acumen and the ability to connect technical capabilities to business value.

The Solution Consultant is a technical presales consultant with the advanced ability to develop, position and provide product-specific solutions during sales cycles while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory.

• Actively support the sales cycle as a technical and domain expert of a client-facing sales team
• Lead high impact discovery workshops to understand customers' challenges
• Conduct demonstrations to align our solution with customer needs
• Be the trusted customer advisor on how our solution will support and accelerate the customers digital ambition
• Incubate and build AI Agents that deliver customer value
• Respond to architectural and technical questions from customers, channel partners and ServiceNow colleagues
• Provide feedback to product management about product enhancements that can address customer needs and provide additional value
• Share and learn best practices and re-usable assets with other Solution Consultants to enhance the quality and efficiency of the team
• Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation
• Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
• 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience
• Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software solutions
• Experience working collaboratively with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services
• Territory management skills, including pipeline building and working with Sales counterpart to guide execution excellence
• Travel, as necessary
