Job DescriptionAs a member of our Solution Consulting team focusing on Public Sector, you will have a major impact on our future success by supporting the sales cycle of the ServiceNow platform.
In this role, you will:
- Advise customers on how to achieve meaningful outcomes using our solutions
- Lead demos and interactive sessions that showcase how our capabilities support customer goals.
- Own the technology agenda for your customer accounts
- Partner closely with cross-functional sales teams and act as the solution lead across customer engagements
- Apply hands-on technical expertise to drive solution delivery and effectively position our technology throughout the sales cycle
- Work with Public Sector customers (and you have experience in Public sector)
- Engage confidently with business decision-makers, including C-level stakeholders, across various functions
- Have strong business acumen and the ability to connect technical capabilities to business value.
What you get to do in this role:
The Solution Consultant is a technical presales consultant with the advanced ability to develop, position and provide product-specific solutions during sales cycles while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory.
- Actively support the sales cycle as a technical and domain expert of a client-facing sales team
- Lead high impact discovery workshops to understand customers' challenges
- Conduct demonstrations to align our solution with customer needs
- Be the trusted customer advisor on how our solution will support and accelerate the customers digital ambition
- Incubate and build AI Agents that deliver customer value
- Respond to architectural and technical questions from customers, channel partners and ServiceNow colleagues
- Provide feedback to product management about product enhancements that can address customer needs and provide additional value
- Share and learn best practices and re-usable assets with other Solution Consultants to enhance the quality and efficiency of the team
- Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation
- Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows
To be successful in this role you have:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
- 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience
- Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software solutions
- Experience working collaboratively with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services
- Territory management skills, including pipeline building and working with Sales counterpart to guide execution excellence
- Travel, as necessary
