We are seeking a Senior Bid Manager to build and lead Assessio's international RFP and Bid Management function from the ground up. This role is critical to enabling Assessio's global expansion by developing the processes, tools, and strategies that help us win more international tenders, enterprise deals, and partnerships.
You will establish best-in-class bid management practices, coordinate cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Success, and ensure our proposals reflect the quality, impact, and science behind Assessio's solutions.
What You'll Do- Build and scale an international RFP/Bid Management function from scratch, setting the foundation for future growth across Europe and other markets. With the help of Technology and AI.
- Develop clear bid processes, templates, knowledge bases, and internal collaboration workflows that improve efficiency, quality, and consistency in all submissions.
- Lead and support local owners in end-to-end RFP and bid responses – from qualification and strategy through submission and post-bid analysis.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to tailor proposals and ensure each submission reflects local market needs while reinforcing Assessio's strategic differentiators.
- Create and manage a centralized content library with approved references, case studies, pricing guidelines, and compliance material.
- Coach and guide internal stakeholders on best practices for international bids, including win strategies, value articulation, and customer storytelling.
- Drive continuous improvement by tracking performance, win/loss ratios, feedback loops, and process optimization.
- Act as the link between commercial and delivery teams to ensure that what is promised in proposals is delivered with excellence.
- RFP processes run smoothly, efficiently and on time.
- Proposals are consistently high-quality, compliant and customer-focused.
- Win rates improve and proposals help drive revenue growth and customer retention.
- Stakeholders see you as a reliable, structured and proactive partner.
- The RFP content library is up-to-date, easy to use and reduces turnaround time.
- Proven experience managing complex bids, proposals, or tenders within SaaS, HR Tech, or consulting industries.
- Strong understanding of international procurement processes and cultural nuances across different European markets.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration under tight deadlines.
- Strategic mindset and ability to balance commercial goals with operational excellence.
- Experience implementing or improving bid management tools and systems.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages (Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, German, French) are a plus.
- Highly organised, structured and deadline-driven.
- Collaborative and confident in managing different stakeholders.
- Quality-focused, with an eye for detail and continuous improvement.
- Calm under pressure and solution-oriented.
