Senior Development Director
The Shared Asset Team (SAT) is a cornerstone of the Battlefield franchise, responsible for developing reusable, high quality assets including characters, weapons, vehicles, and cosmetics that power experiences across multiple feature teams and live services.

As SDD, you will build and lead the operational foundation for SAT, driving clarity, structure, and scalable excellence across a highly cross-functional environment. You'll sit at the intersection of creative production, business operations, and franchise leadership, ensuring that SAT operates with precision, transparency, and impact.

This is a builder's role: a chance to define the operating model, shape the culture, and set the standard for how shared work is executed across EA.

What You'll Do
Operational Leadership

  • Define and implement SAT's operating model, workflows, and governance, ensuring predictable, efficient, and high quality delivery across global locations.
  • Lead all operational aspects of SAT's development including planning frameworks, reporting systems, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee capacity planning and prioritization, identifying resource gaps and adjusting plans dynamically to meet franchise and live service goals.
  • Partner with Chapter Leadership and Franchise Operations to ensure alignment, compliance, and financial accountability across the organization.

Strategic Delivery & Business Operations

  • Translate strategic direction into clear, measurable delivery plans and KPIs that align with Battlefield's franchise objectives.
  • Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and budget management in partnership with Finance and the RMO, operating SAT as a transparent, data-driven business unit.
  • Establish and maintain reporting processes that drive visibility, predictability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with franchise leadership to synchronize SAT's objectives with broader production and business strategies.

Cross-Franchise Partnership

  • Represent SAT at franchise and chapter leadership levels, aligning operational priorities and dependencies across teams.
  • Communicate priorities, progress, and risks effectively across leadership and partner groups, ensuring clarity and accountability.
  • Partner with Legal, Central Ops, and other EA functions to maintain compliance and operational integrity.

People Leadership & Team Culture

  • Lead and develop a highperforming, motivated team of project managers and operations professionals.
  • Model EA's inclusive and empowering leadership standards, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and respect.
  • Foster an environment of trust, autonomy, and growth, encouraging creativity and operational excellence.
  • Drive talent planning and career development, ensuring SAT's team structure and skills evolve in step with the franchise's needs.

Required
What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in production operations, program management, or business operations within game development or large scale creative industries.
  • Proven track record of building and optimizing operational systems in multi-studio, cross-functional environments.
  • Strong experience in financial forecasting, capacity planning, and KPI development for complex production pipelines.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of AAA production pipelines and shared asset workflows.
  • Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills across leadership levels.

Preferred

  • Experience leading shared service or central content teams in large franchises or live service environments.
  • Familiarity with change management and operational transformation within global organizations.
  • Experience in live service or franchise-scale production environments.

Who You Are

  • A builder and systems thinker and you thrive on structure, scalability, and results.

A collaborative leader who values clarity, accountability, and partnership.

A strategic operator who connects creative ambition with business precision.

A team developer who takes pride in empowering others to achieve excellence.
