We are hiring an HR Director to lead HR at Toyota Material Handling Sweden. The role is part of the management team and focuses on strategic HR development, leadership, and employee engagement.

Your role as HR Director
As HR Director, you have overall responsibility for the HR function in Sweden and will drive the strategic development of the organization in alignment with our business goals and core values.

You are a member of the management team and report directly to the Managing Director. Your role will combine an interesting mix of operational HR and a strategic perspective. In this role, you will lead the HR team consisting of 5 hr professionals, develop HR policies, and drive initiatives within talent management, organizational development, and change management. You will actively work with employee experience, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and ensure that HR initiatives are integrated with our focus on sustainability and innovation. You will have a network of HR-colleagues all over Europe.

Your profile
We are looking for an experienced HR leader, accustomed to working in a complex organization undergoing change and development. You combine strategic perspective with operational drive and have the ability to build trust and engagement across the organization.

You have:

  • Several years of experience in strategic HR leadership at management level or other strategic leadership role with high degree of operational context..
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business strategy into HR strategy and actionable initiatives.
  • Solid experience in talent management, leadership development, and organizational design.
  • Knowledge of diversity, inclusion, employer branding, and sustainability-related HR processes is an advantage.
  • The ability to manage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders – management, HR team, union representatives, and operational leaders.
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with active involvement in operational tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
