OHB Sweden is a leading Swedish supplier of space systems. We develop, build, test and commission satellites and subsystems for space missions in, for example, communication, earth observation and space research for institutional and commercial customers within and outside Europe.


We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team and manage procurements for one of our key projects in the space industry. For this role it is important to have experience in procurement of high technology products and space products. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all procurement activities for a specific project.
  • Ensuring that all units are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the project's objectives.
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers for critical components, conduct market analysis, and develop sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and policies, maintaining transparency on procurement status, issues, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Office and Engineering teams to support project needs and proposals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the aerospace or high-tech industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
