Internship requirements: This full-time unpaid internship and requires enrollment in an educational program

Avavav is looking for a Production Intern to join Avavav's product team.

About the role

Your mission during this internship will be to have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of tasks within the product department, gaining insight into the entire product life cycle, from concept and samples to the final product.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

●     Inspect and measure all incoming samples

●     Make minor garment adjustments

●     Manage incoming and outgoing packages

●     Assist in quality control inspections and identify areas for improvement in product quality.

●     Support with product data input and continuously update internal records and systems.

●     Provide support for the production and development of current and upcoming seasons

Prerequisites

●     Currently enrolled in a degree program in Product Development, Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, or other related field.

●     Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

●     Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

●     Knowledge of textile materials, garment construction techniques, and production processes (preferred but not required).

●     Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

●     Previous internship or coursework experience in product development or textile production (preferred but not required).
