The position

As a Lead Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products and services. Our team is dedicated to driving technical excellence, and work with architecture from a holistic perspective, from business architecture to deployment and seamless integrations. Cambio is very proactive in using AI to deliver better customer applications and to be more efficient.

As a Lead Architect, you are the bridge between our strategy and technology for a specific product or competence area in our portfolio. 

Your responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the product manager to steer the product in the right direction

• Creating and maintaining the technical roadmap, by guiding software architects and participating in our increment planning, giving clear goals and directives for development focus going forward.

• You run the Product Architecture Board where architectural decisions are taken within the product.

• You are a part of the Enterprise Architecture team, consisting of other lead architects and enterprise architects.

• Together, we set guidelines and principles for architecture and technology at Cambio, helping to guide the organization towards our future vision.

About you

To feel comfortable in this position, you have probably had a background as a software or solution architect and would like to take next step. You also at this point have acquired the ability to handle multiple stakeholders with different needs, at various seniority levels (from C-suite to developers). You should be comfortable in setting direction and vision, helping others to execute it, and be able to act as a mentor and coach to other architects. Presentation skills and communication skills are key as you will need to collaborate and influence those around you, all with the goal of reaching the future vision of your product. Our team values soft skills as much as technical skills.

Requirements

• Technical background, preferably as an architect
• Leadership experience, preferably as an informal leader
• Comfortable presenting and interacting with stakeholders at various levels, from developers to CIOs and present roadmaps for large audience
• Experience presenting and communicating ideas, visions, or guidelines at various levels to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in Swedish and English

It's a bonus if you

• Have experience working in a regulated domain, for example with MDR or CE-marking.
• Have experience of a complex product's life cycle and the processes associated with it.
• Have experience in the health technology domain.

We are growing in several areas and need reinforcement. It is a bonus requirement if you have experience from and interest in being the lead architect in one or more of the following areas:

• Cambio platform: A standards-based health data platform built on openEHR, enabling secure and interoperable access to clinical data. As Lead Architect, this involves governing platform architecture, data models and integration patterns to ensure scalable, reusable and vendor-independent use of healthcare data.
• Container Platform (OpenShift): Standardizes application delivery using containers to improve cost efficiency, portability and operational manageability. As a Lead Architect, this includes defining target architectures, setting OpenShift standards, and guiding the transition of existing applications to scalable and resilient container-based platforms.
• Private Cloud & Security: Defines and governs the network-centric architecture of a private cloud for healthcare applications. As Lead Architect, this involves setting principles for tenant isolation, network segmentation and secure traffic flows, and ensuring security and operational controls across development, deployment and operations.
• Frontend: Defines the architecture for modern, secure and accessible healthcare clients built on standardized frontend frameworks. As Lead Architect, this includes guiding the modernization of the client landscape, setting frontend standards, and ensuring consistent user experiences, performance and compliance across applications such as Min Hälsa and integrations with 1177.

Scope
: Full-time, hybrid work model (three days per week in-office)

Form of employment:
Permanent employment, 6 months trial period
