TOTEME is a fashion house rooted in Swedish sensibilities, modern aspirations and the notion of style. With an appreciation for women's many roles and how pieces are worn in practice, we create emblematic designs with an emphasis on materiality and shape. Representing a direct and decisive way of dressing, the collections are contextualized in curated edits, visuals and spaces.

TOTEME was founded in 2014 by Elin Kling and Karl Lindman. From the atelier in Stockholm, we create collections spanning ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, accessories and jewelry.

The Role

TOTEME is looking for a Senior RTW Designer to join our team in Stockholm on a full-time basis. In this role, you will shape the design of ready-to-wear across all categories for two main seasonal collections per year, as well as capsules, in close collaboration with the Design Director and Co-Founder. Reporting to the Design Director, you will work cross-functionally with Design, Atelier, Technical, Production, Raw Materials, and Merchandising teams to ensure a seamless translation of creative vision into finished product.

Responsibilities

• Shape the design of the main ready-to-wear collections together with the Design Director.

• Drive close collaboration with Product Development, Atelier, Technical, and Collection Management teams.

• Contribute to the creative execution of the main ready-to-wear collections, from research to final delivery, following briefs set out by the Design Director.

• Ensure design proposals align with TOTEME's aesthetic, collection plan, and commercial objectives

• Communicate and develop ideas through sketching, CAD, and draping.

• Be closely involved in seasonal fabric selection in line with the collection vision and contribute to the Fabric-to-Style (FTS) process.

• Guide fittings across all RTW styles, ensuring clear communication of changes and refinements.

• Provide detailed guidance on construction and finishing ahead of Salesman Samples (SMS).

• Drive normalisation and pre-production fittings to ensure final product aligns with creative vision and brand standards.

• Coach, mentor, and develop designers within your collection team.

• Participate in runway show development in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Participate in and contribute to TOTEME's social and environmental sustainability strategy.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design or equivalent.

• Minimum 7 years' experience within premium or luxury ready-to-wear design, preferably working with categories such as tailoring, and outerwear.

• Strong CAD design skills and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

• Experience in freehand sketching or 3D draping.

• The ability to clearly visualize and communicate creative visions.

• Fluent in spoken and written English.

This is a full-time position based at TOTEME's headquarters in Stockholm to start in accordance to agreement.
