We're now looking for a
Senior Product Designer
to join our acquisition and conversion team. This role is critical to growing Fishbrain's user base and driving our free-to-pro conversion strategy. You'll work at the intersection of design and growth, creating experiences that turn visitors into engaged users and free users into paying subscribers.

As our Senior Product Designer for acquisition and conversion, you'll own the end-to-end design for our conversion funnels—from website to app onboarding, trial experiences, and subscription flows. You'll work closely with your PM, product analyst, and engineering team to run experiments, analyze results, and iterate rapidly. This is a high-impact role where your design decisions directly influence our business metrics.

What you'll be working on:

• Deliver high-fidelity, intuitive designs for conversion funnels, onboarding flows, and trial mechanics
• Translate research and user insights into design decisions
• Run ideation workshops and rapid A/B test experiments to optimize conversion rates
• Create prototypes and conduct user interviews to validate design concepts
• Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to align design decisions with business goals
• Extend design system and component library in Figma
• Identify UI gaps and opportunities to improve key conversion metrics including reg-to-trial, trial-to-pro, and website downloads
• Design and optimize ad inventory experiences that balance user experience with monetization goals

What we are fishing for:

• 5+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating conversion-focused design work
• Strong portfolio in digital product design for iOS and Android
• Experience with mobile app design and knowledge of UX flows and interaction design
• Proven track record in growth or conversion design with measurable impact on business metrics
• Deep understanding of Apple and Material Design guidelines
• Proficiency in Figma for design systems, prototyping, and hand-off
• Web design experience with SEO pages and conversion optimization focused on driving app downloads
• A/B testing and experimentation experience, able to design for experiments and interpret results
• Subscription or freemium model experience with understanding of conversion psychology and premium value communication
• Comfortable working with analytics tools such as Amplitude to inform design decisions
• Fluent in English with ability to articulate design rationale to stakeholders

• Experience designing for fishing, outdoors, or lifestyle apps
• Knowledge of US fishing culture and angling community
• Experience using AI tools to improve design efficiency
