Do you want to shape the frameworks that ensure the world's ML workloads run successfully on Arm technology?
We're looking for an experienced and analytical engineer to design and develop software that powers ML validation across our next-generation platforms.
About the Team
We are a team of engineers passionate about understanding and improving Machine Learning performance across Arm's diverse ecosystem.
Our mission is to develop scalable, efficient, and trusted workflows that enable ML software to release on time and to quality, across CPUs, GPUs, NPUs, and emerging compute architectures.
We create the frameworks, automation and other tooling that power ML performance analysis, system validation, and large-scale verification across our board farms and pre-silicon environments.
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll design and evolve the solutions that allows ML software and systems to be exercised, measured, and understood at scale.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Developing frameworks and tooling for running ML workloads and benchmarks across heterogeneous Arm platforms and board farms.
- Automating execution, data collection, and visualization pipelines to streamline quality and performance assessment.
- Collaborating closely with ML software, systems, and IP teams to define requirements, and drive improvements.
- Exploring and influencing ML performance on future Arm architectures and next-generation pre-silicon platforms.
You won't be writing individual tests - you'll be designing the systems that make large-scale ML validation and performance analysis possible.
About You
The successful engineer will be highly flexible, quick to learn and be motivated by the opportunity to understand and improve the systems enabling functionalities and performance measurements of future Machine Learning solutions using Arm technology.
Essential skills:
- Strong experience in software development or automation (Python required).
- Experience with modern Python development - object-oriented design and tools such as uv and ruff.
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub).
- Comfortable developing on Linux or Mac.
- Good communication skills, inter-cultural awareness and you embrace diversity.
Desirable:
- Understanding of operating system fundamentals - processes, file systems, and resource management.
- Experience with pre-silicon or hardware bring-up environments.
- Understanding of ML frameworks, compilers, or model execution flows.
- Background in data visualization or performance analytics.
Even if you don't tick every technical box, we'd love to hear from you. What matters most is your curiosity, your aim to learn, and your ambition to make an impact.
