Stockholm, Stockholm, Sweden H&M Group Full time
Job Description

Are you passionate about the power of social media and want to help one of the world's most iconic fashion brands grow through smarter content and channel strategies?

We are looking for a Social Media Analyst to join the Consumer & Marketing Insights team at H&M. In this role, you will deliver actionable insights and performance reporting to guide our social media team's creative and strategic decisions. You'll play a key role in helping us understand what's working, what's emerging, and where we have the opportunity to lead in a fast-evolving digital landscape.

This role sits at the intersection of data, creativity, and culture - supporting teams with the right insights, tools, and trends to drive reach, engagement, and brand impact across platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Analyse social media performance across platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and translate data into clear insights that guide content and platform strategies.
  • Report on key metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, and content performance enabling data-driven decisions on what to scale, stop, or try.
  • Extract, structure, and analyze social media and marketing data from multiple sources (e.g. social platforms, listening tools, internal databases).
  • Develop and/or maintain dashboards and automated reports that visualize performance trends and measure the effectiveness of social content and campaigns.
  • Monitor social media and cultural trends, identifying emerging formats, behaviors, and viral topics to help H&M stay relevant and ahead of the curve.
  • Support the adoption of tools and reporting frameworks and contribute to developing best practices for creative optimization and measurement.
  • Collaborate closely with the social media team and other marketing stakeholders to align insights with brand and content goals.
Qualifications

Who You Are

We believe you are as comfortable in dashboards as you are in creative brainstorms, combining technical skills with a deep understanding of how culture moves online:

We are looking for people with...

  • Proven experience in social media analytics, big data analysis with a strong grasp of performance optimization and platform KPIs.
  • Experience extracting and working with large datasets; proficiency in Excel/Sheets and familiarity with data querying (e.g. SQL, BigQuery) or Python/R is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of major social platforms, their content formats, algorithms, and audience behaviors.
  • Skilled in using analytics tools to gather insights (e.g. native platform tools, third-party reporting solutions).
  • A strong interest in fashion, culture, and digital trends, with a keen eye for what's next.

And people who are...

  • Great communicators with the ability to turn data into insights and share them clearly with cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organised, self-sufficient, and able to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information

This is a full-time position based in Stockholm, reporting to the Consumer & Marketing Insights Manager. You will work in close collaboration with the global social media team and other key functions within Brand, Content, and Media.

Apply by sending in your CV in English as soon as possible. Due to data policies, we only accept applications through our career page
