What We Do At Blykalla
Blykalla is developing the next generation of nuclear technology with our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) based on innovative fuel, materials, and reactor designs. As Sweden's only SMR developer, we are on a mission to decarbonize industries and enable safe, scalable, and sustainable energy solutions. Our technology uses uranium nitride fuel and lead coolant, creating novel challenges and opportunities for the fuel cycle and supporting systems.
What You'll Get To Do
As part of our business development team, you'll join a tight-knit, fast-moving group tackling Blykalla's most important projects and driving strategic initiatives forward. As the company evolves, so will your role — giving you the opportunity to work closely with management to shape partnerships, strategies, and key decisions that define our future.

You will:

  • Identify and secure business opportunities through partnerships with energy companies and large industrial energy users.
  • Ensure cost and business models are kept up to date and translated into competitive customer offerings.
  • Conduct market analysis and translate insights on customers, competition, and market trends into strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop tailored proposals, project plans, and feasibility studies for different customer segments.
  • Represent Blykalla at industry events, strengthening our visibility and professional network.
  • Provide senior management with data-driven insights to support strategic positioning, growth, and competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field. A Master-, MBA, or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 2-4 years of experience in consultative high-tech business development, and experience in the energy sector is a plus not not a requirement
  • Ability to deal with and shape work with a high degree of ambiguity, you prefer creating something some scratch rather than asking how things are done historically
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Possess strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down and interpret complex market data into actionable insights.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, taking initiative to get things done. Experience in a startup or scale-up is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Location
This position is based in our
Stockholm office
and will require travel as needed to meet with clients, partners, and attend industry events.
