This is the Position:

As the M&A Manager at Addtech, you will have a central role in the acquisition process. You will collaborate closely with all business areas, understand their strategies, identify which growth areas are prioritized, and support the entire acquisition process, from identifying target companies and managing broker contacts to conducting post-acquisition evaluations.

Each business area has different needs and approaches to acquisitions, so the role requires flexibility, good listening skills, and the ability to adapt to the specific needs of each project.

Reporting directly to the Business Area Manager of Industry with a dotted line to the CEO, you will be an integral part of the M&A team. The role offers autonomy, a collaborative culture, and the opportunity to make a real impact in one of the industry's most respected companies.

This is what you will spend most of your time focusing on:

As previoulsy mentioned, the role is broad and covers the entire Addtech M&A process. Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify and initiate contact with potential target companies
  • Build and drive strong relationships with M&A brokers
  • Collaborate with business areas to identify new and attractive niches
  • Offer hands-on support throughout the full M&A process
  • Support analysis and key insights from Information Memorandums (IMs)
  • Contribute to negotiations and tactical decision-making
  • Provide support in Legal Due Diligence (LDD) and Financial Due Diligence (FDD)
  • Responsible for the Addtech Acquisition Academy, including training and knowledge sharing
  • Lead post-acquisition analysis and evaluation
  • Benchmark Addtech's performance against industry peers
  • Maintain and develop the M&A database

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in M&A processes and transactions
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Experience in valuation, due diligence, and deal execution
  • Solid understanding of corporate finance and strategic growth through acquisitions
  • Skilled in preparing and analyzing Information Memorandums and financial reports
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English
