Five Guys is one of the fastest-growing burger brands globally, known for its high-quality food, simple menu, and commitment to operational excellence. In Scandinavia, Five Guys is expanding rapidly with multiple new openings planned in the coming years.

About the Role

As Operations Manager, you will be a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving performance across multiple Five Guys restaurants in the Scandinavian market. You will partner closely with the COO and Five Guys International to ensure operational excellence, strong financial performance, and outstanding customer experiences in every location.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can coach and develop strong teams, and wants to play a key role in scaling a world-class brand in a new region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and support the daily operations of multiple restaurants, ensuring all locations consistently meet or exceed Five Guys standards for food quality, speed, and customer service.
  • Drive sales growth and operational excellence by analyzing performance data and implementing clear action plans.
  • Coach and develop General Managers and Assistant Managers, ensuring strong leadership.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations, health and safety standards, labor laws, and company policies.
  • Oversee financial performance across stores including P&L management, labor planning, food cost, inventory accuracy, and waste reduction.
  • Lead and support new store openings, including pre-opening preparation, training, and operational launch.
  • Partner with the COO and HQ team to execute strategic initiatives, brand programs, and operational rollouts.
  • Build strong teams through active recruitment, training, retention, and performance management.
  • Ensure facilities, equipment, and store environments are maintained to the highest standards.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in multi-unit restaurant or retail operations.
  • Proven track record of managing P&L, driving sales growth, and improving operational performance.
  • Strong coaching and people leadership skills, with experience developing management teams.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and operational compliance.
  • Proficient in Excel, operational reporting tools, and scheduling systems.
  • Fluency in English required; Swedish or Danish is a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel regularly between restaurants within the region.
