CEO & Partner – RE Datacenters

Location: Stockholm (flexible)

Role: Full-time

Level: Operational CEO + Equity Partner

RE Datacenters is building a next-generation Nordic platform for large-scale AI and HPC datacenters. Our developments range from 50–300 MW and focus on strategic locations, advanced technical standards, and close collaboration with energy providers, municipalities, hyperscalers, and institutional investors.

We are now recruiting an operational, visionary, and technically strong CEO who will also join as a partner in the company.

About the Role

As CEO & Partner, you will lead the build-out of RE Datacenters end-to-end — strategically, operationally, and technically.

You will shape the organisation, set the technical architecture, and drive major developments through the full lifecycle from concept to commissioning.

You will:


• Lead the expansion of a Nordic AI/HPC-focused datacenter platform.


• Own the technical roadmap, architectural standards, power strategy, cooling concepts, redundancy, and infrastructure design.


• Build commercial relationships with AI/Cloud/HPC clients, hyperscalers, and enterprise customers.


• Collaborate with infra funds, institutional investors, and strategic partners.


• Recruit and manage a high-performing technical and operational team.


• Drive projects in close cooperation with energy companies, municipalities, and global technology players.


• Represent the company towards authorities, investors, and large industrial stakeholders.


• Contribute as partner to strategic decisions on capital structure, long-term expansion, and portfolio growth.

Who We Are Looking For

A strong operational leader with proven senior-level datacenter experience, ideally from hyperscalers, colocation operators, infra funds, or large-scale technical industries.

We value candidates with:


• Deep technical competence in datacenter design, power systems, cooling, redundancy, network, operations, and high-density environments.


• Experience managing or developing facilities above 50 MW, especially HPC or AI-oriented infrastructure.


• Strong understanding of CAPEX/OPEX structures, energy markets, PPAs, and large-scale industrial investments.


• An established professional network within datacenters, energy, cloud/AI, or institutional capital.


• An entrepreneurial mindset — someone who wants to build a major platform from the ground up.


• Ability to lead long-term strategy while remaining hands-on operationally.


• Experience working with municipalities, utilities, grid operators, and industrial partners.


• Excellent communication skills in English (Swedish is a plus but not required).
