We are looking for an
Embedded Test Engineer
.

In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that software functions within the vehicle's comfort, body and base applications meet high demands for quality, functionality and safety. You work on developing test strategies, automating test flows, and conducting tests for ECUs and embedded systems in areas such as Body & Visibility Functions and Comfort & Cab Functions.

The work covers the entire test chain, from requirements review and test design to execution, analysis and reporting, and is done in close collaboration with software developers, systems engineers and function owners. The role includes developing and running test cases for embedded control systems (HIL/SIL), automating tests in Python, for example, analyzing results, reporting deviations and contributing to continuous improvement of test environments and processes.

Qualifications:

  • You have an engineering degree in electronics, computer technology, or mechatronics.
  • You have experience in testing embedded systems and ECUs.
  • You have good knowledge of Python (advantageous), CANoe, Vector tools, or equivalent test environments.
  • You have a good understanding of vehicle communication (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • You have experience in test automation and HIL systems (e.g. dSPACE) is an advantage
  • It is an advantage if you have a truck driving license/interest in trucks.
