Accounting Lead

Macade is one of the world's fastest-growing brands within golf apparel, worn by some of the brightest stars on the PGA, LPGA and European Tour. Founded in 2019 with a small collection created for our friends and family, we now dress more than 100,000 golfers worldwide. Our mission has grown, and so has our ambition.

We are now looking for an Accounting Lead to join our team in Stockholm. This is a key role where you will own the accounting function end-to-end and play an essential part in Macade's continued global expansion. You'll combine hands-on daily work with building the structure and processes needed as we scale, becoming the link between numbers, business and stability.

In addition to above, you'll be responsible for:

• Owning and independently executing all day-to-day accounting for our entities in Sweden, the US and the UK

• Ensuring stable, efficient and scalable accounting processes and routines

• Managing monthly and annual closing from start to finish

• Performing group consolidation

• Handling intercompany flows and transfer pricing end-to-end

• Ensuring compliance within accounting, tax, VAT and customs

• Managing VAT, OSS and customs reporting and declarations

• Delivering financial analysis and insights that support sound business decisions

• Acting as a business-oriented, value-adding partner to the CFO and collaborating closely with other teams

• Owning and improving processes within our ERP system (Microsoft Business Central)

You do not need previous experience working across multiple countries. It's a big plus, of course but the most important thing is that you are curious, eager to learn and see it as an opportunity to grow. Macade is expanding into additional markets over the coming years, which means the role will grow with you.

You're detail-oriented, hands-on, analytical and comfortable taking full ownership of your area. You like building something that lasts, and you're motivated by being part of a company that is scaling globally.

Our humble expectations

• 5–7 years of experience in accounting, including independent responsibility for monthly and annual closing

• Strong understanding of accounting processes and confidence across the full cycle

• Experience with consolidation and group structures

• Familiarity with intercompany flows, transfer pricing and inventory accounting

• Good knowledge of tax, VAT and customs regulations

• Strong system skills and an interest in efficient workflows; experience with Business Central is a plus

• High attention to detail, structured working style and strong analytical ability

• Good communication skills and confidence collaborating with internal teams and external partners

• A curious mindset and a desire to grow with the company's international expansion
