DESCRIPTION
Sinch is seeking a Solution Architect to drive the technical vision and delivery of customer communication solutions worldwide. You will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technical execution - ensuring every solution we design is scalable, secure, reliable, and future-ready.
As a Solution Architect, you'll collaborate closely with internal teams and customers to define, design, and implement end-to-end communication solutions that align with business goals and industry standards. You'll be a trusted advisor, guiding customers through technical challenges, optimizing solution performance, and ensuring that every implementation contributes to Sinch's global excellence.
This is a high-impact, global role with exposure to cross-functional projects, cutting-edge communication technologies, and customers from diverse industries and regions.
Your Mission
Engage and Understand: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to capture business goals, regulatory requirements, and technical constraints - translating them into actionable technical solutions.
Architect and Design: Create detailed solution blueprints that define system structure, integration points, and data flows, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with standards like 3GPP, ITU-T, and GDPR.
Collaborate for Success: Work closely with engineering, QA, network, and deployment teams to ensure seamless implementation and integration of designed solutions.
Ensure Security and Reliability: Define security measures such as encryption, authentication, and access controls while optimizing systems to deliver high performance and minimal latency in real-time communication environments.
Own the Solution Lifecycle: Lead projects from initial design to deployment and beyond - continuously evaluating, improving, and optimizing solutions to meet evolving customer and business needs.
REQUIREMENTS
What You Bring
10+ years of experience in technical roles within the telecom or IT industry
Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems and experience with Oracle or similar databases
Expertise in telecom protocols such as SS7, and experience with telecom systems installation and integration (Charging Systems, VAS applications)
In-depth understanding of IP network architecture, configuration, integration, and redundancy
Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, OpenStack)
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services like AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI
Preferred Skills
Experience with ETSI NFV, cloud-native environments, or containerization
Familiarity with modern data and automation tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Kafka, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
Proficiency in Python or Java for automation or integration tasks
Knowledge of monitoring and visualization tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and authentication systems (Keycloak)
Understanding of AI, ML, and pattern detection for optimizing communication solutions
Experience with security frameworks and system hardening
