We are looking for a Senior Accountant for a global company in Gothenburg. Start is ASAP, 1 year contract to begin with. This role is 100% onsite in Gothenburg.

What you'll do

Located in Gothenburg, you will be working to support company operations with financial accounting reporting services. The work includes partly to prepare, evaluate and report financial figures and partly to participate and give input in a wide variety of projects. You will be involved in monthly and quarterly closing activities within the area of responsibility according to Swedish GAAP and IFRS.

Qualifications


•Extensive experience working with large international companies is an advantage


•Proficiency in SAP and Hyperion FM


•Solid understanding of finance processes and systems and the ability to practically implement and drive them with high efficiency and quality.


•Interest in data analysis, automation, and digitalization, which is advantageous for this position


•Degree in Business Administration or equivalent


•Strong understanding of finance processes and systems, with the ability to implement and drive them efficiently and effectively


•Proficient in accounting and experience level minimum 5-7 years in accounting positions

You will also play an active role in improving and standardizing current processes. Your role will involve working with their Global Accounting Centre in Madrid, local country-specific contacts, stakeholders at headquarters, auditors, and tax advisors. During monthly closings, you will take a leading role to ensure high-quality reporting within the area.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong desire and drive for change, be comfortable with complex accounting questions in IFRS and local GAAP. Your analytical skills and computer proficiency should be strong, and you should be able to grasp the big picture. Experience with SAP R/3 and Hyperion FM is advantageous. Additionally, you should have a university degree in Finance, relevant work experience, and fluency in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

A high level of integrity, a positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

This is a full-time consultant position in Gothenburg through Incluso. Start is ASAP, 1 year limited contract to begin with. This position is 100% onsite in Gothenburg.
