Strategic Account Developer to Speed Identity

We're looking for a Strategic Account Developer who thrives on complex challenges, deep customer relationships, and long-term strategic impact. The Strategic Account Developer is responsible for managing and expanding Speed Identity's customer relationships. The role exists to secure long-term revenue growth through consultative, solution-based sales and ensuring customer requirements are fully captured and addressed. You'll lead our efforts with key governmental and institutional clients, guiding product strategy based on real user needs, navigating demanding procurement processes, and ensuring our solutions deliver maximum value—from specification through delivery and service life.
The Strategic Account Developer drives the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to contract signing, while building trusted relationships that strengthen Speed Identity's market position in biometric identity solutions.

Your responsibilities include:- Managing the full sales cycle – from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closing.
- Navigating public procurement, tenders, and framework agreements with precision.
- Developing compelling proposals that balance customer needs with profitability.
- Building and executing account plans, including expansion and renewals.
- Partnering with channel networks and collaborators to strengthen bids and reach.
- Representing Speed Identity at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
- Strong relationship-building skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder negotiations and contracts.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities with executive-level stakeholders.
- Structured, analytical mindset with strong project management skills.
- Solid understanding of public procurement processes and long-cycle B2B sales.
- Commercial acumen and ability to balance customer needs with business profitability.
- Collaborative, pragmatic, and solution-oriented working style.
- High level of resilience, adaptability, and drive in dynamic environments.
- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in complex B2B sales, ideally combining hardware and software offerings.
- Proven track record of securing and expanding key accounts, preferably within government or regulated industries.
- Experience with public tenders, framework agreements, and contractual management.
- Familiarity with technology-driven solutions and ability to understand customer technical requirements.
- Experience working in both large organizations and growth companies/start-ups is advantageous.
- Fluency in English required; Swedish and additional European languages are a merit.
- Previous experience in biometrics, security, or identity solutions is a strong advantage.
