About the Role

We are looking for a
Strategic Sourcing Director
to shape and scale our sourcing function. In this role, you will drive sourcing strategies, identify and capture cost-saving opportunities and secure a reliable, sustainable and high-quality supply chain. As part of a fast-growing scale-up, you will combine strategic vision with hands-on execution, building strong supplier partnerships while developing sourcing capabilities for long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and inspire the sourcing team to achieve strategic and operational goals.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities within sourcing and summarize total potential.
• Develop and implement plans and organizational structures to realize identified potential.
• Create, negotiate and manage supplier agreements and contracts.
• Identify potential delivery problems and risks that may impact production.
• Establish mitigation strategies to secure a reliable inbound supply chain.
• Identify supplier-related quality risks and create effective mitigation plans.
• Set up and manage strategic supplier development programs focused on cost reduction, delivery reliability and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, including within fast-paced, scaling organizations.
• Master's / Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Proven track record of building sourcing capabilities from the ground up (processes, systems, supplier base).
• Proven experience in leading and developing teams, with a track record of fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth
• Strong negotiation skills and experience structuring agreements in dynamic and fast-changing contexts.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to combine analytical rigor with pragmatic decision-making.
• Demonstrated success in identifying risks and establishing mitigation strategies in high-growth environments.
• Inspirational leadership style with the ability to grow and develop high-performing teams in a scale-up culture.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
