About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Specialist to join our Italian team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations, supporting both local and regional reporting. The ideal candidate has solid accounting experience, excellent analytical skills, and a hands-on approach to managing daily finance activities in a fast-paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Italian statutory requirements and company accounting policies.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with the EMEA finance team.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support management decisions.Fluent in Italian and English

Key Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in an international company.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP and familiarity with IFRS principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in Italian and proficient in English (both written and verbal).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
