Senior Consultant

Next Level Finance is a rapidly scaling finance transformation specialist, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to strengthen our FP&A offering while supporting continued client impact and firm growth. In this role, you will lead Finance transformation engagements focused on financial planning, steering, and performance management, while also contributing to team development, business development, and strategic initiatives.

You will combine deep FP&A expertise with strong leadership skills, taking ownership of end-to-end client delivery, mentoring consultants, and helping shape Next Level Finance's market position as we scale.

Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery & Leadership

• Lead end-to-end Finance transformation engagements, from scoping and design through implementation and benefits realisation
• Own senior client relationships and manage executive stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and measurable outcomes
• Design and deliver FP&A solutions, including financial planning processes, performance management models, and technology-enabled planning applications
• Facilitate strategic workshops, communicate insights to C-suite stakeholders, and support organisational change initiatives
• Coach and mentor junior consultants, ensuring high-quality delivery and capability development

Business Development & Internal Growth

• Support business development activities, including pitches, proposals, tenders, and case studies
• Identify new client opportunities and build long-term relationships with key decision-makers
• Contribute to thought leadership, market positioning, and the development of FP&A service offerings
• Support recruitment and provide input into the firm's growth roadmap and strategy

Key Requirements

• 7–12 years' experience in management consulting, finance transformation, controlling, FP&A, or similar roles
• Strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis, including pre-studies, solution design, and end-to-end implementation of planning and steering solutions
• Experience designing financial steering models and performance management frameworks
• Hands-on experience with financial planning tools (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud, Anaplan, Planning Analytics or similar)
• Proven leadership of complex, multi-stakeholder Finance transformation engagements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Experience supporting business development or sales activities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in Swedish and English, based in the Stockholm area
• Degree in economics or a related field
