Ocado Logistics is a leading provider of innovative logistics solutions, operating at the forefront of automated customer fulfillment centers. We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cutting-edge facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and in-depth maintenance on all automation equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Carry out maintenance on production equipment in a timely and safe manner, adhering to standard operating procedures and safe systems of work.
  • Respond to and diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolving issues and implementing repairs as necessary.
  • Update engineering records, including work carried out, root cause analysis, and spares and consumables used.
  • Ensure accurate and timely records are input into the CMMS system, supporting engineering KPIs.
  • Perform daily housekeeping and cleaning duties of equipment.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze failures and implement solutions to improve MHE performance.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety, food hygiene, and safety standards and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must have in-depth knowledge of 500s Bots maintenance (planned and reactive) and 500s LRU repair processes.
  • Basic technical understanding of all OSP automation hardware and software.
  • A formal engineering-related qualification is advantageous.
  • Demonstrable analytical skills with sound problem-solving ability.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to impart knowledge effectively to others.
  • Good organization skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and conveyors is advantageous but not essential.
