Role and Responsibilities

CAE is seeking a highly skilled Junior Simulator Technician to join our team in Sweden. As a key member of our Simulator Technician team, you will be responsible for performing routine technical tasks on site, in the field, or in the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated systems.
  • Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on simulators and associated systems.
  • Utilize maintenance management systems to record and track maintenance activities.
  • Complete all designated training activities.
  • Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks on designated simulators.
  • Perform basic visual alignments.
  • Run automatic Qualification Test Guides (QTGs).
  • Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.
  • Learn and comply with CAE's quality management system.
  • Provide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner.
  • Perform housekeeping functions to maintain simulators as required.
  • Perform logistics duties, including parts receipt, repair, and testing/validation.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree or equivalent background in aerospace/electronics/software.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Ability to work shift work, including around-the-clock operations.
  • Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language.
  • Ability to live and work in Sweden.
