About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Development Manager to join our team at Volvo Group. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the implementation and scaling of our global Human Rights Due Diligence program across our supply network.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability, human rights, and compliance, with experience working in a multinational corporate environment. You will have excellent leadership skills, creativity, and the ability to identify opportunities and risks from a sustainability perspective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the global Human Rights Due Diligence program for our supply network
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal frameworks and industry guidelines
  • Provide training and coaching to build knowledge and capabilities within the organization
  • Act as owner of relevant tools, guidelines, and processes to drive human rights due diligence
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Mastery of science or equivalent degree in a relevant field (e.g., sustainability, human rights, business administration)
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a related field, preferably in a multinational corporate environment
  • Deep understanding of compliance and due diligence fields, with a focus on human rights and supply networks
