Hitachi Energy Denmark A/S is expanding its global supplier quality function, seeking an experienced electronics quality assurance engineer to strengthen our international team.

In this position, you will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to develop and implement a strategy for qualifying the supply base needed for our growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and execute quality management plans, ensuring robust qualification processes and continuous improvement.
  • Lead non-conformity management, supporting D1-D3 and driving D4-D8 with suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier quality performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing quality improvement plans.
  • Plan, execute, and follow up surveillance audits, focusing on quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate a quality mindset among suppliers and internal stakeholders, promoting excellence throughout the organization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree related to electronics or equivalent competence gained through experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in electronics and/or quality assurance.
  • IPC-certification and Green Belt certification are desirable.
  • Experience in quality audit execution (certified quality auditor is a plus).
  • Good knowledge or experience in manufacturing processes assessment.
  • Experience in product qualification processes (PPAP or equivalent).
  • Excellent English skills, written and verbally.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated technical attitude and passion for quality.
