Tink is a payment institution licensed by the Swedish FSA, revolutionizing the way customers interact with their finances. Our open banking platform enables seamless payments from any account, at any bank, to our services. As we continue to grow and expand, we need a Compliance Officer with a solid background in anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) to join our compliance team.

About the Role

We're seeking a Compliance Officer who will help develop and implement our financial crime compliance program. As a key member of our compliance team, you'll work closely with colleagues across various teams and locations, providing practical guidance and advice to ensure our operations remain compliant with financial regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop Tink's AML/CTF compliance program, ensuring effective implementation and ongoing monitoring.
  • Work closely with the first-line AML/CTF function, risk control function, legal function, and other teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Take on MLRO responsibilities, ensuring compliance with external regulations and reporting to Tink's board and management.
  • Develop and implement risk-based plans for the compliance function's work with AML/CTF, including annual reviews and updates.
  • Support the first-line AML/CTF function and risk owner with advice and guidance.
  • Engage with financial supervisory authorities and FIUs in Sweden and other markets where we operate.
  • Participate in product development and strategic projects, ensuring compliance with AML/CTF regulations.
  • Develop and deliver AML/CTF-related training for the board, management, and Tink staff.

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience working with AML/CTF in the financial industry.
  • Previous experience in a control function, such as compliance, risk, or internal audit.
  • Relevant academic degree from a reputable university or college.
  • Experience in a regulated PSD2 payment institution is a plus.
  • Strong investigative and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English and Swedish.
  • High ethical standards and a spotless reputation.
