Application and IT Risk Manager, NLP Specialist

Are you passionate about technology risk and compliance? At Nordea, we're looking for a skilled Application and IT Risk Manager to strengthen our relationship between business and technology.
As an Application and IT Risk Manager, you'll drive compliance in our applications, ensuring they meet Nordea's requirements and customer needs. You'll play a vital role in supporting the business by managing application risks, identifying stakeholders, and driving budget considerations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing application risks, driving risk mitigation activities, and identifying stakeholders to support compliance.
- Communicating, implementing, and developing key initiatives and rules of Application Management Governance, such as verifying failover tests, backup testing, and monitoring, access management, application risk assessments, vulnerability management, and pen testing management.
- Proactively managing relationships with stakeholders, setting priorities, and establishing clear processes with technology and business units.
- Creating and driving new processes to ensure clear communication with business and technology stakeholders, understanding their needs, and translating them into application-related initiatives.
- Taking ownership and accountability of assigned tasks and processes, including verifying and initiating mitigation actions, understanding root causes of risks, and risk reporting to stakeholders.
- Participating in and driving initiatives/projects requiring knowledge of applications, supporting with IAM, ITAM, and business continuity uplift, supporting with data flow mapping, and identifying stakeholders who can deliver on tasks or should be kept in the loop.
- Reviewing technology-related internal rules impacting NLP SE and ensuring the NLP SE perspective is represented and noted.
- Keeping up-to-date on rules impacting application compliance, including communication and training for other team members, stakeholders, and proactively presenting recommendations for improvement.
This role is based in Stockholm, and to succeed, you should have strong stakeholder management skills, a strong cultural awareness, and a dynamic approach. You should also have a good understanding of application operations and management tasks, including business logic, and be able to interpret vulnerability reports, provide recommendations, and assist with finding the right stakeholders. Excellent language skills in English and Swedish are a must. If you have a technology background, preferably in application management or project management, and experience working with ITIL processes, information security, and technology risk/compliance, you'll be a great fit for this role.
