Job Overview

Nordea Bank is seeking a highly skilled Application Portfolio Manager to drive compliance in our applications and ensure they continue to meet the requirements and needs of our customers.

About the Role

You will join the Application Portfolio and Data Management team within AWM COO, a professional, fun, and collaborative unit striving to deliver excellence through tangible results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for keeping applications within risk appetite, driving risk mitigation activities, and proactively identifying stakeholders to support with delivering on compliance.
  • Communicate, implement, and develop key initiatives and rules of the Application Management Governance & Transformation.
  • Proactively manage relationships with stakeholders and support with setting priorities and expectations.
  • Create and drive new processes to ensure a clear line of communication with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Understand and verify business logic to ensure applications are fit for purpose and use.
  • Take ownership and accountability of assigned tasks and processes as an Application Portfolio Manager.
  • Participate and drive initiatives/projects that require knowledge of applications, supporting with IAM, ITAM, and business continuity uplift.
  • Keep up to date on rules that impact the compliancy of applications.

Requirements

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the capability to influence and advise senior management within Nordea.
  • A strong cultural awareness and a dynamic approach, willing to take on extra responsibilities when needed.
  • Understanding of application operations and management tasks, including the business logic behind applications and data.
  • The ability to interpret vulnerability reports, provide recommendations, and assist with finding the right stakeholders.
  • Good analytics skills and a structured and methodical approach to tasks.
  • Good English skills, both written and spoken.
