Job Description: Customs & Logistics Planner

As a key member of the J-Lindeberg team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to our various markets. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the customs clearance process, ensuring compliance with regulations in Europe and the US for both import and export.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Delivery Management: Utilize our ERP system (Business Central) and BI tool (QlikView) to monitor and optimize delivery performance.
  2. Shipment Manual Development: Create and communicate a comprehensive shipment manual to our suppliers on a quarterly basis.
  3. Customs Declaration Control: Ensure accurate and timely customs declarations.
  4. Tariff Code Management: Enter accurate tariff codes into our PLM system (Centric) and communicate changes to the production team.
  5. Customs Broker Coordination: Collaborate with our customs brokers in Sweden and the US to ensure seamless customs clearance.
  6. Product Classification: Work with our US customs broker to classify products prior to each new season.
  7. Inventory Management: Report and communicate any inbound shortages to relevant stakeholders.
  8. Claims Handling: Manage claims for late deliveries, missing pieces, or non-compliance with our shipment manual.
  9. System Implementation: Contribute to the implementation of a new OMB system to monitor inbound deliveries.
  10. Process Improvement: Work proactively to enhance our IT systems for greater digitalization and efficiency.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in customs and logistics planning.
  3. Customs Knowledge: Deep understanding of customs regulations and tariff classifications.
  4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage claims and improve processes.
  5. Technical Skills: Experience working in Excel and ERP systems such as BC (Business Central).
  6. Soft Skills: Entrepreneurial and result-oriented with excellent communication skills for effective interaction with suppliers, brokers, and internal teams.
  7. Language: Fluent in English is a must, Swedish is an advantage.
