Accounting Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Associate to join our team on a temporary basis. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, processing employee expense reports, and resolving any related issues or queries.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Resolve any accounts payable and receivable issues or queries, providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain and prepare journal entries for fixed assets, prepayments, and accruals, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with end-of-month and end-of-year closing procedures and reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Support the annual accounts audit and general ledger preparation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in maintaining robust financial controls, ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures, and government regulations.
Requirements:
- Accounting, business administration, or finance bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge of accounting, economics, and financial principles.
- Strong quantitative skills, with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Process-driven, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Confidentiality and discretion, with excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and NetSuite is a plus.
