Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Stegra. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective electrical repairs and maintenance in low and medium voltage. You will work closely with operators, technicians, and other production personnel to communicate improvements and troubleshoot electrical issues using tests, technical diagrams, and blueprints.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective electrical repairs and maintenance in low and medium voltage.
- Collaborate with operators, technicians, and other production personnel to communicate improvements.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using tests, technical diagrams, and blueprints.
- Program and configure electrical control systems.
- Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
- Contribute to the optimization of maintenance programs.
- Train and guide operators in maintenance tasks.
- Evaluate the need for spare parts for the equipment.
- Ensure safe working conditions with Lock Out-Tag Out procedures during repairs.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards and a safe work environment together with the team.
Requirements:
- Significant heavy industry experience.
- Experience within the steel production industry is highly sought.
- Three years electrical gymnasium.
- An understanding of industrial automation systems (preferably Siemens or Honeywell).
- Documented qualifications in workplace environment and safety (e.g ESA/OHSA).
- Knowledge of Swedish and EU safety codes.
- Ability to work independently and accurately.
- Ability to work on rotating shifts.
- Good command of English; Swedish is a plus.
