Job Summary

Nordex Sweden is expanding its team for Service Technicians at Nysäter Service Point. We are seeking skilled electricians interested in working in a dynamic and constantly evolving industry.

Main Responsibilities

As a Service Technician, your primary duties will include fault-finding and maintenance of turbines. Key tasks include:

  • Analyzing defects with service coordinators via phone
  • Performing autonomous repairs, troubleshooting, and fault-finding for turbines
  • Collaborating with Lead Technicians on complex repair processes
  • Conducting planned maintenance and inspection activities with subcontractors
  • Filling out reports and checklists to inform Local Operations Managers
  • Informing customers about turbine works
  • Repairing or replacing main components
  • Managing spare parts inventory and being responsible for on-site materials
  • Monitoring service reports and optimizing service processes for accurate expense tracking
  • Ensuring tasks are completed with high quality and on time
  • Minimizing expenses while maintaining high-quality results
  • Being responsible for company materials, tools, and property
  • Following Nordex manuals and regulations
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines, working safely for materials and personnel
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • An electrical education at a vocational or higher level
  • At least three years of electrical experience
  • Proficiency in using computers, with experience in Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and SAP being beneficial
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • A 'can-do' attitude and excellent team working skills
  • Flexibility in working time and area
