About the Role


Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team in Sweden. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing heavier up-tower repairs on critical components, controlling your own inventory of spare parts and tools, and coordinating stakeholders in tasks such as transport and logistics.


Key Responsibilities



  • Performing up-tower repairs on critical components
  • Controlling and managing inventory of spare parts and tools
  • Coordinating stakeholders in tasks such as transport and logistics
  • Traveling to support colleagues with the exchange of major components on several turbine types
  • Working primarily in Northern Sweden, with occasional support in the South of Sweden and the Nordic region

Requirements



  • Qualifications in mechanical or machinery experience, such as heavy machinery, marine engineer, tool operator, car-, agricultural- or truck mechanics
  • Experience as a Service Technician within the Turbine industry
  • A valid driver's license B as minimum (Swedish B/C is meritorious)
  • A high level of flexibility in terms of travel and working hours
