About the Role

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead a Therapeutic Area throughout the Nordics. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the company's mission of transforming patients' lives through science.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee financial planning and analysis for a Therapeutic Area throughout the Nordics, providing support to the TA team and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance and inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensure precise financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to drive business goals and objectives.
  • Develop and provide enhanced analytics to senior management for monthly performance, projections, budget, and ad-hoc strategic planning exercises.
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence and Analytics team to design and implement new reports and dashboards supporting business decisions.
  • Develop business cases and financial insights to assist senior leadership in making sound investment decisions.
  • Partner with commercial and medical teams to manage operating expenses in line with business needs.
  • Prepare monthly and ad-hoc analyses for various stakeholders and partner with them to resolve any issues.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Actively participate in the month-end processes, including review of P&L and management reporting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with a CPA, CFA, and/or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with pharma experience a plus.
  • Proven business partnering capabilities and ability to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, such as Excel, SAP, and Hyperion.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing business needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
