For our headquarters in Stockholm, we are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Financial team. The Financial Accountant will work closely with the team to ensure overall strong financial health. As Sigicom grows and develops, so does the Finance function, and as Financial Accountant, you will be part of the process in analyzing best practices and ensuring a stable financial structure.
The Financial Accountant reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
The Role
- Responsible for maintaining the accounts of the different group companies in accordance with the group's guidelines and applicable legislation.
- Responsible for the monthly financial reports of all subsidiaries managed from Sigicom HQ.
- Responsible for legal reporting to authorities, including VAT declarations, social security declarations, annual reports, and income tax returns for all subsidiaries managed from Sigicom HQ.
- Collaborate with the Financial Manager in supporting daily accounting activities, including valuation issues in financial statements and preparation of the Sigicom group liquidity report and liquidity analysis.
- Support the Financial Manager in budgeting, budget monitoring, periodic reports, forecasting, profitability monitoring, analyses, review of investment cases, and development of procedures and systems.
- Support the Financial Manager and CFO in coaching and managing the Finance Assistant in accordance with company guidelines.
- Analyze and monitor accounts receivable, as well as support and assist the organization with other monitoring activities.
The Profile
- Degree in Business Administration, Financial Accounting, or equivalent.
- Experience working in similar roles, in medium to large companies, preferably with an audit background.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Proficient user of Office 365 and other digital tools.
- An analytical, unpretentious, and communicative personality with an interest in the Group's activities.
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
