We are establishing an Engineering unit in Västerås, capitalizing on the region's potential with customers from the Energy & Utilities, Manufacturing, and Rail sectors.

About the Job

Our esteemed client is a world leader in the Energy transmission industry. We are looking for individuals with at least 3 years of experience in product development, particularly in HVDC and grid technologies.

Experience in CAD and PLM systems (preferably NX and Teamcenter) is advantageous.

Requirements
  1. A university degree in Mechanical engineering, Mechatronic engineering, or a related field of study.
  2. Knowledge of HVDC Systems and Plant engineering would be highly valued.
  3. Expertise in designing and developing valves and its components.
  4. Familiarity with 3D and 2D materials production, including tolerance setting, considering producibility, costs, and requirements.
  5. Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a challenging and innovative environment with complex requirements.
  6. Fluent in English.
