The Role

We're seeking a Lead Lawyer for Grid System Projects to join our team in Sweden. In this role, you'll play a critical part in advising our business units on a wide range of legal and integrity topics. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting the development of different business models, particularly for high-value complex tenders and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate contract terms with customers, partners, and suppliers, collaborating with business stakeholders to drive the development of different business models.
  • Work as a trusted business partner, identifying legal issues and developing effective strategies to mitigate risks and resolve disputes.
  • Contribute to tender submissions by reviewing documents, identifying risks, and drafting deviations.
  • Collaborate with local and global legal teams, promoting dispute avoidance and managing litigations.

What You'll Need:

  • University Law Degree from a Swedish university.
  • Extensive experience as a lawyer relating to grid system or major utilities construction/engineering projects.
  • Knowledge of governmental and commercial regulations, working knowledge of FIDIC and offshore contracts.
  • Proven communication, drafting of contracts, and negotiation skills; strong interpersonal skills including team spirit.
